Physicists Bring AI Closer To ‘Unsupervised Learning’

AI is perilously close to autonomous  “unsupervised learning,” where the requirement for human assistance is removed. Currently, there are sparks of ignition of self-learning but it is spotty and limited to a specific domain. The holy grail for AI is to achieve GENERAL self-learning on an ad-hock basis; in other words, the AI discovers new learning opportunities and then pursues them autonomously.
