Last-minute deal struck for DRC President to step down

A deal has been struck between political parties in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to get President Joseph Kabila to step down. The lead negotiator says Mr Kabila, whose term ended on December 19, will relinquish his position after new elections have been held in 2017.
