Laidlaw appointed New Zealand sevens coach

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - London Irish assistant coach Clark Laidlaw has been appointed head coach of New Zealand's rugby sevens team following Gordon Tietjens' resignation, New Zealand Rugby said on Thursday.
