US Says It Will Limit Size of Government Subsidy on Semiconductor Chips

The US Commerce Department has announced that it will limit the size of government subsidies for semiconductor manufacturing. The Commerce Department said that applicants must supply detailed financial information and projections for proposed projects and capital investment plans.
