US Drone Crashes Hours Before Breaking 63-Year-Old Record for Longest Flight

A US solar-powered drone nearly broke the record for the longest flight when it flew continously for 64 hours before crashing on August 19. The Zephy S drone was being evaluated by the US military and spent over 64 days in the stratosphere before it crashed, according to a report.
