More than a million messages have already been sent and received using Telstra’s Satellite Messaging service

It’s been active for less than two weeks, but Telstra’s Satellite Messaging service has been a hit with customers who have already sent or received more than a million messages.
The service, which uses the Starlink’s Direct to Cell low earth orbit satellite network, was first available 10 days ago for Telstra customers with Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones.
