Google pulls the plug on Huawei access to Android updates and apps

Alphabet Inc, the company behind Google, has cut off Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei from accessing updates to the Android operating system which powers their devices around the world.
This is a major blow to the company which has become the second largest smartphone vendor in the world behind Samsung.
