FIFA World Cup 2022 to Use Semi-Automated Offside Technology for Accurate Decisions

FIFA has announced to use semi-automated offside technology at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar starting on November 21. The new technology will calculate the exact position of each player using 29 data points of individual player, 50 times per second.
