Ethereum’s Eco-Friendly Revamp ‘Merge’ May Go Live in August, Unless a ‘Difficulty Bomb’ Explodes

The Ethereum network is due for a new, energy-efficient working model. It is named ‘Merge’, and developers can see it launching as soon as August this year. There are however, certain snags that could delay the launch of this much awaited Ether 2.0 update, that was initially slated for launch in June.
