RANZCOG’s Own Evidence Undermines Opposition to Born Alive Bill

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) has opposed a Federal Bill seeking to protect babies born alive following an attempted abortion. The Human Rights (Children Born Alive Protection) Bill 2026, introduced by Queensland MP Llew O’Brien, would require babies born alive following an abortion to receive appropriate medical care.
