56,000 Sheep Spared Live-Export Journey to the Middle East

Thankfully, a live-export ship carrying 56,000 sheep and delayed by a COVID-19 outbreak won’t be heading out to sea,despite calls by the industry to allow for an exemption.
It’s a victory, in that these sheep will now be spared a gruesome, hellish journey spanning weeks, during which they would have gasped for breath and waded through their own melting waste on multi-tiered ships.
